“When we first came to Calvary Church, we knew we wanted to be more than just spectators. For us, it was about purpose and we wanted to be part of a team. God has given us talents and abilities and we want to use them for Him. Volunteering allowed us to get plugged in immediately and find a place to serve.” “Volunteering was also beneficial to us in another way. Being new to the area with no family here, we wanted to build relationships quickly. By joining a volunteer team, it helped us establish friendships and made us feel at home.”

– Steve and Gina Petree

Missions Trips

I realize it doesn’t matter where you go, as long as you listen to God’s call and GO . . . “When I went with the team to South Africa, I was excited to work with children. I’ve been amazed by how much the experience has impacted me. From hearing God’s call, to raising funds, God never stopped surprising me. I’ve learned so much about trusting God, humility and His love. Being a part of this missions team has positively affected my relationship with God, my marriage and my career. I will forever be grateful to God for making it all possible!”
